High-Performance Magnetic Shielding
Each MuMETAL® Zero Gauss Chamber is constructed from multiple layers of high-permeability alloy, precision-welded and annealed to deliver optimal performance. Standard 3-layer configurations provide attenuation of static and low-frequency AC magnetic fields up to 1,000,000×, achieving residual magnetic fields below 5 nT (0.05 mG) and noise levels under 30 fT/√Hz when properly degaussed.

Construction: Seam welded for strength and magnetic continuity

Assembly: Non-magnetic spacers used for precision layer isolation and alignment
Degaussing Coil (Optional): Reduces residual magnetism; installed around inner layer
Cradle (Included): Non-magnetic cradle supports the chamber horizontally and minimizes vibration
For optimal field uniformity and long-term stability, periodic degaussing is recommended. Standard and high-temperature insulated Degaussing Coils are available upon request.

The MuMETAL® ZG-Mini Zero Gauss Chamber is a compact, portable magnetic shielding solution engineered for laboratory, field, and bench-top applications requiring a stable, ultra-low magnetic environment. Designed with a working volume of 1.38 in (35.1 mm) diameter × 8.55 in (217.2 mm) length, this lightweight chamber provides exceptional performance in a convenient, all-purpose form factor.
